TASO-Columbus Saturday School students visited Franklin Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus in order to show their compassion and love for the elderly people, and give the message that they care about their life and health. The elderly people seemed to be very excited about receiving small presents from the students.
TASO-Columbus Saturday School students visited the fire station on Hard Rd. west of Sawmill Rd. in Dublin in order to take some information from the firefighters about their difficult job. The students appreciated their job and gave them a box of Turkish delight as a remembrance.
Turkish American Society of Ohio delivered meat (Qurban) donations to Somalian people in need in Columbus. Around 350 families received the donations. TasoColumbus will continue to organize different help campaigns to help needy people and would like to thank Turkish Community members for their meaningful donations.
Turkish American Society of Ohio-Columbus organized a food donation to the YWCA columbus family shelter to help the less fortunate members of our society. The volunteers of TASO-Columbus served hot meals to over 100 homeless individuals.
