  • Coffee Night, February 14

Women’s Club of Niagara Foundation organizes a series of “Coffe Nights” for a fun and enjoyable evening with ladies of all background, faith and ethinicity. Each Coffe Night is organized with a theme and speakers are invited to talk about the theme from different perspectives.

On December 4, theme of our Coffee Night was “The holiday traditions in Turkey and in America”. Mrs. Pat Hardesty talked about the American holiday traditions and Mrs. Sultan Erginbas shared the Turkish holiday tradistions with the guests. About 40 women from different parts of the community attended the program. It was a very enjoyable night, with learning, friends, food and authentic Turkish coffee.

On February 19, “Love the created for the Creator’s sake–Divine Love” was the theme of our Coffee Night. Mrs. Dee Fontana talked about how Divine Love is understood in Christian faith and Mrs. Gulcin Ozer talked about the topic from Islamic view. About 40 guests were present for this lovely night and everyone left with new friends and many good memories.

The next Coffee Night of Women’s Club will be on April 30 and we will learn about different “wedding tradistions” in Turkey and in USA.
