Our youth took an active role at the New Americans Book Fair 2023 on September 23, by volunteering their time and energy. The event, held at the Dublin branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library in Dublin, Ohio, was organized by the New Americans Magazine and the New American Community Information Center. It showcased the diverse array of works from new Americans, immigrants, and refugees, including authors, poets, artists, and film producers. As volunteers, our young members had a firsthand experience in assisting these talents, facilitating the event, and learning about the different stories and backgrounds. Their participation not only supported the event but also emphasized our commitment to community engagement and cross-cultural learning.
